Our Story
Mike established the Ashby brand in 2017 and after working on many local projects, he saw an opportunity to expand. Mike approached Scott with the idea and together they established Ashby Electrical in September 2018.
We knew it wasn’t going to be easy… starting a business never is! We’d prepared ourselves for that…
But what we hadn’t prepared for, was a global pandemic 12 months into our new venture.
As opportunities became difficult to come by, it was one large project that kept us ticking and kept our small team of people busy through that tough period.
In comes Robin, bringing his extensive knowledge of engineering within the UK Rail infrastructure, supporting clients with electrical, telecoms, civils design and engineering assurances.
We doubled the size of our team, from 13 to 26 experts.
2023 was our most successful yet!
We got involved in larger projects with new clients, that’s what happens when your team has a diverse set of skills and knowledge gifted with “can-do” attitudes.
We took time to say thank you to our people, we celebrated our continued success and we cemented the foundations for continued growth.
We welcomed Carl to lead our Eco division, ensuring sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. With 20+ years of working within blue chip companies, Carl and his team will support our clients to help decarbonise their homes and businesses.
